“This is Pokrovsk in Donetsk. And behind me are the two apartment buildings and playground that were hit by not one, but two Russian strikes, less than 36 hours ago. It's clear that this is civilian infrastructure, people live here. There is a playground, children played here. There's a café, people drank coffee here. Civilian infrastructure, civilians, and children in particular, are protected by international humanitarian law, which has to be respected.”

“On the evening of August 7, a terrible tragedy occurred, a rocket attack on the town of Pokrovsk, which took the lives of 9 people. On August 8, at 8 a.m., we were already here and provided assistance to the affected people. On the first day we gave out 500 sheets of RSD, approximately 100 sheets of tarpaulin. It covered the needs of 330 beneficiaries, 167 households. We also provided the first psychological first aid. Today is the second day we are working at the site of the tragedy. Today we delivered 100 kits for emergency housing repair, 400 sheets of OSB, 400 sheets of tarpaulin. And 820 non-food items. First of all, such as cots, mattresses, sleeping bags. Today we are also providing psychological assistance. We will work at the site of this tragedy until we cover the needs of our beneficiaries.”
