As humanitarian needs continue to rise worldwide, the United Nations and partners will launch tomorrow (1 Dec) the Global Humanitarian Overview (GHO), their annual assessment and plan to alleviate the suffering in 2023.
The GHO is the annual overview of worldwide humanitarian needs and trends, projections, and inter-agency response plans.
It includes an overview of the humanitarian funding necessary in 2023.
Martin Griffiths, Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator, will present the plan.
