UN Secretary-General António Guterres “expressed his shock and sadness at the heinous mass shooting that took place at an elementary school in Uvalde, in Texas. It is particularly heart-wrenching that most of the victims are children,” said a UN Spokesperson.

Reading a statement issued Tuesday (24 May) night, UN Spokesperson today (25 May) said that the Secretary-General “extends his heartfelt condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims and to the entire community.”
