United Nations Operation in Somalia (UNOSOM) Facilitates Political Settlement and Provides Humanitarian Assistance
The Security Council decided to establish under its authority a United Nations operation in Somalia (UNOSOM), by adopting resolution 751 (1992) on 24 April 1992.
