A large crowd, estimated by New York City police at 125,000 people, gathered today in UN Plaza in front of UN Headquarters to protest against the war in Vietnam and the involvement of the United States. The parade was led by the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Dr. Benjamin Spock, and other leaders of the Civil Rights movement and peace movements in the United States.
