Secretary-General Stresses Reproductive Health Care at Meeting on Youth
Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon (at podium, third from left) addresses the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) Commission on Population and Development at its forty-fifth session, on the theme, “Adolescents and Youth”. Mr. Ban stressed the need to provide reproductive health care for young people, as well as give them access to the necessary information and the means to protect themselves from sexual abuse and violence.
