United Nations Given Braille Printer
Don MacKay (right), Permanent Representative of New Zealand to the United Nations, and Chairman of the General Assembly Ad Hoc Committee on a Comprehensive and Integral International Convention on Protection and Promotion of the Rights and Dignity of Persons with Disabilities, reads his statement after he was presented with a Thiel Beta X Braille printer by Harold Snider (centre), Executive Director of Services for the Visually Impaired, today at UN Headquarters in New York. The new printer will allow the printing of documents directly into Braille.
