Arms negotiation between Russia and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) are actively advancing, said the United States Representative to the UN, Linda Thomas-Greenfield, delivering a joint statement on behalf of the US, Japan, the Republic of Korea, and the United Kingdom. UNIFEED

The Security Council unanimously adopted a draft resolution expanding the mandate of the UN Verification Mission in Colombia (UNVIC) to monitor and verify the implementation of a bilateral ceasefire between the Colombian government and the guerrilla group Ejército de Liberación Nacional (ELN) that is set to begin tomorrow. According to the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC), the restrictions to freedom of religion and the safety of members of religious communities across Ukraine in both territory controlled by the Government as well as that occupied by the Russian Federation "is a matter of grave concern".
