Former Child Soldiers In Liberia Start A New Life
During the brief period of peace in Liberia, about one hundred and fifty child soldiers decided to lay down their arms. They are being cared for in camps run by the Child Assistance Programme which provides the children with counselling, vocational training, discipline and recreation. So far twenty children have been reunited with their families and have decided not to fight again.
