In late 2005, six years after it was first adopted by the International Labor Organization (ILO), the Cambodian government ratified the ILO's Convention on the Prohibition and Immediate Elimination of the Worst Forms of Child Labor. Under the convention, Cambodia is now obligated to take immediate action against the most dangerous areas of child labor. UNTV
