The Security Council unanimously adopted a resolution condemning attempts to illicitly export crude oil from Libya and imposing sanctions on vessels involved in such efforts. UNTV

The Security Council expressed its full support for UN special envoy for Lakhdar Brahimi’s efforts to find a political solution to the Syrian conflict. Brahimi said he needs, “all those who can help to make sure that if and when we have the third round it will be a little bit more productive than the second round.” UNTV
