The humanitarian crisis in Gaza is deepening. Fuel, food, water and electricity are running out, and the health system is in a state of total collapse. An estimated 50,000 pregnant women are caught up in the conflict, with around 5,500 due to give birth within the next 30 days - around 160 deliveries a day. UNFPA

A UN spokesperson said, “In Afghanistan, the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs tell us that aftershocks continue three days after the earthquake which struck Herat Province and affected more than 12,000 people.” UNIFEED
