Current events have only reminded us all of the importance of our work and reinforced our commitment. The situation along the Blue Line is our concern, and the potential for it to escalate beyond control is clear. We continue to urge everyone to cease fire and stop any acts that may put civilians or UN personnel at risk – or bring this beautiful region into conflict.”
