Dina Boluarte, President of the Republic of Peru, said, “¡Amaña warmi maqay kachunchu! In our Runasimi, I want to tell the world: No more violence against women.”

Addressing the General Assembly today (19 Sep), Boluarte, said, “Allow me to make a proposal for a compact, a commitment to international cooperation and action to immediately address the impact of meteorological phenomena such as El Niño. A pact based on solidarity, resilience, and interdependence.”

She continued, “Today, it is Peru that is facing El Niño. Tomorrow, nature may affect a different location. But united, as I always say in my country, we can move forward. Let's make of this pact, a pact for the world, a pact for life!”
