Press Conference: World Cities Day 2023 and new zero-waste initiatives

UN-Habitat, the United Nations entity responsible for sustainable urban development and human settlements, and the Government of Türkiye host a press briefing during the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York. Updates on the planned global observance of World Habitat Day 2023 under the theme "Financing sustainable urban development for all", which will take place in Istanbul, Türkiye, on 31 October 2023, and announcements of the upcoming zero-waste initiatives. The event is taking place under the patronage of the First Lady of Türkiye H.E Emine Erdoğan.
