NUCLEAR CRANE

A nuclear war cannot be won and must never be fought.

That is the message from President Csaba Kőrösi.

In a tweet, the President said that the dangers from nuclear weapons arise from their very existence. We should use our technologies and resources to create better lives; not costlier, deadlier threats.

In this context, the President wholeheartedly supports the hashtags #CranesforOurFuture campaign, and all it represents – a world without nuclear weapons, and a future where the horrors of the past are never repeated.

The campaign is held ahead of the anniversary of the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

This hour, President Kőrösi is meeting with PGA-elect Dennis Francis, and CDC-elect Collen Vixen Kelapile.

This is part of the ongoing cooperation between President Kőrösi and the Office, with the incoming PGA and his team.

And it’s also an opportunity to update the PGA-elect on the plans for the high-level UNGA week, that includes the SDG Summit.
