Originally from Australia, Mina is a global leader committed to protecting the world’s water resources. Following a 15-year career in law, finance and climate change, Mina established the Thirst Foundation, a non-profit organization focused on driving action on water.
On March 21, Mina presented an SDG6 flag signed by people across the world to the Heads of State of the two co-hosts of the conference – the King of the Netherlands and President of Tajikistan – at the official opening of the Tunnel Exhibition at the UN.
Mina's extraordinary journey took her to 32 countries where she met people on the frontlines of the water crisis and witnessed the damage we have done to our rivers, lakes and wetlands.
