President Csaba Kőrösi will travel to Egypt this weekend for 27th UN Climate Change Conference of the Parties, otherwise known as COP27.
Member States this morning debated the latest report of the International Atomic Energy Agency – the IAEA.
President Kőrösi just met with the representatives of the G4 Group – Brazil, Germany, India and Japan.
Related, President Kőrösi will meet later today with the Intergovernmental Negotiations Co-Chairs – who are chairing the Member State-led effort to reform the Security Council.
I wanted to let you know that President Kőrösi will hold a civil society townhall on Friday, 2 December, here at UN Headquarters.
Looking to tomorrow in the General Assembly, Member States will debate the situation in Afghanistan, on the basis of the latest report by the UN Assistance Mission in the country, or UNAMA.
