Bangladesh is one of the most densely populated nations on earth. It is also the most underfed. By air and by sea, from countries of every, political stripe, this impoverished land is receiving one of the world’s largest infusions of foreign aid. Bangladesh is one of a group of young and destitute nations with similar problems - few exploitable natural resources, no capital, no technology and a staggering population rate. The film depicts the economic plight of this recently independent nation in light of a growing awareness of the need to establish a New International Economic Order.
