"This country must turn the page in terms of governance, in terms of relations, governing citizens, in terms of important reforms that are needed of this country and it is also unanimous that we will continue our joint action with a lot of consultation between the Francophonie and the members of the G5, with sharing of analysis and that we will continue to support this country, the citizens of this country who we all think deserve and also ask that they start living in a healthy environment, in an environment that is both safe but also political and socio-economic that would be the normal environment of a citizen and therefore my exchange this morning with the representatives of international partners here in Bangui, the European Union, the African Union, the World Bank, France, and the United Nations, we have mainly understood the current situation, the analysis, but also the approach to be followed together."

The Secretary-General of the International Organization of La Francophonie (OIF), Louise Mushikiwabo, was in Bangui over the weekend for a two-day visit to the Central African Republic and said, “this country must turn the page.”
Mushikiwabo was received by the United Nations Humanitarian Coordinator in the country, Denise Brown. The two personalities spoke at length about the upcoming general elections in the Central African Republic as well as various other subjects related to the peace and stability of the country.
Later, the Secretary-General met with members of the G5 group, made up of representatives of the United Nations, the African Union, the Economic Community of Central African States, the European Union, France, Russia, the United States, and the World Bank, who reaffirmed their commitment and re-engagement with Francophonie in assisting Central Africa Republic.
