SHOTLIST:

1. Wide shot, Ryder in meeting room
2. SOUNDBITE (Spanish) Pedro Sánchez-Pérez Castejón, Prime Minister of the Government of Spain:
“We are firmly convinced that the response to the economic crisis, the social crisis derived from the health crisis, must come from the agreement of all the social partners in Spain. Social dialogue has been key in the entire process of shock measures to overcome the crisis.”
3. Wide shot, Ryder in meeting room
4. SOUNDBITE (Italian) Giuseppe Conte, Prime Minister of the Republic of Italy (in Italian):
“Like other countries, the Italian government has worked following the health crisis to give a strong stimulus to revive the economy. Coming to date to date emergency interventions worth over 80 billion euros in favor of working citizens and businesses. But we know that to overcome this challenge we must produce a collective effort.”
5. Wide shot, Ryder in meeting room
6. Soundbite (English) Angel Gurría, Secretary-General of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD):
“GDP in OECD countries has fallen by about 15 percent in the first two quarters of 2020. Now for the full year even if a second wave of infections is avoided, we expect global GDP to be 6 percent lower than in 2019 and the recovery in 2021 will only recoup part of that decline. Now if there is this widespread second wave in late 2020 output and employment outcomes would be even worse. We estimate that the median OECD economy in that assumption, in that case would be at the same level of GDP per capita in 2021 as it was in 2013. So, in a way we would have lost eight years.”
7. Wide shot, Ryder in meeting room
8. SOUNDBITE (English) Justin Trudeau, Prime Minister of Canada (in English):
“The pandemic has also shone a light on how much we rely on global supply chains to access food personal protective equipment and other essential goods and services. That's why at the international stage we need to continue to work together to address all the economic and human impacts of COVID-19 and advanced solutions for a sustainable recovery.”
9. Wide shot, Ryder in meeting room
