The special police station at M'Poko airport received a large donation of material on Friday containing high-performance equipment capable of detecting fake documents, as well as explosives detectors.

"This batch of materials and equipment will enable the Internal Security Forces, according to the overall resizing and redeployment plan, to devote its axis of effort to security and public peace. This is what mobile squadrons and national security companies do every day to achieve their goals. Namely, among other things: guaranteeing the same level of security throughout the national territory, democratically managing demonstrations and any public event and meeting the needs of the population, "said chief commissioner Bienvenue Zokoue, director of the Central African police.

This donation of nearly 70 million CFA francs will strengthen the operational capacity of the airport police by making it more efficient in passenger control and the fight against terrorism.
