Description
Somalia is an arid country with a large nomadic population. In the early seventies the rains failed and pastures yielded only dust. Hunger took its toll. Under a plan developed by the Government, 5,000 nomads came to the coastal village of Brava and became fishermen - a new industry and a transformation of a way of life.
