STORYLINE:

It has been nearly one month since a magnitude 7 earthquake struck the capital Port-au-Prince .

UNICEF’s warehouse was destroyed during the quake, but its newly constructed storage facility is a hive of activity. Apart from the supplies arriving by air, some arrive by road as well from neighboring Dominican Republic .

Unpacking, repacking and distributing hundreds of tons of supplies is a mammoth task requiring careful coordination.

Over 50 locals have been employed to expedite deliveries, many of them lost everything in the earthquake and this job has become their lifeline, they’re also determined to help their fellow Haitians.

As one truck leaves, another arrives and the frenzied activity continues. Deliveries target camps and child care centers in the affected areas throughout Haiti .
