The Security Council unanimously adopted a resolution listing six individuals affiliated with the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) and Al-Nusra Front on the Al-Qaida sanctions regime in an attempt to cut off funding to these groups. In the resolution the Council expressed its "gravest concern" that territory in parts of Iraq and Syria are under the control of ISIL and Al-Nusra. UNIFEED-UNTV
