AFGHANISTAN / PRELIMINARY COUNT

The preliminary results from Afghanistan's run-off presidential election were announced in Kabul, following a delay to allow an audit of a number of polling stations. Yousof Noorestan, Chairperson of the Independent Election Commission (IEC) said it was "possible that there will be changes in the results after the IEC investigation into complaints." UNAMA
