With the coming rains, UNICEF and partners are rushing mosquito nets to families displaced aroundBangui,Central African Republic, to try and prevent malaria. WHO / SUGAR GUIDELINES

The World Health Organization recommended that sugars should be less than ten percent of total energy intake per day to prevent non-communicable diseases. It further suggests that a reduction to below five percent of total energy intake (around 25 grams or 6 teaspoons) per day would have additional benefits. WHO
