The Joint Mission of the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) and the United Nations confirms that an initial quantity of priority chemical materials was moved from two sites to the port of Lattakia, in Syria, for verification and was then loaded onto a Danish cargo ship today. The vessel left the port for international waters and will remain at see awaiting the arrival of additional chemical materials at the port. UNTV
