STORYLINE:

The president, Mohamed Morsy, told delegates to the UN's annual general debate that the Egyptian revolution was founded on the legitimacy that he represented, was not the product of "the winds of change of spring or autumn

Morsy also assured Egypt's full support to any course of action Palestine decided to follow in the United Nations.

He call upon the international community to "just as you have supported the revolutions of the Arab peoples, to lend your support to the Palestinians in their endeavors to regain the full and legitimate rights of a people struggling to gain its freedom and establish its independent state".

On the Syrian conflict he said that Egypt was committed to supporting the mission of Special UN-League of Arab States Envoy to Syria, AI-Akhdar Al Brahimi.

Yemen's President Abdrabu Mansour Hadi asked the international community to provide "urgent support to our country in various fields including in the fields of establishing a modern civic state based on democracy, good governance, respect of human rights and social justice".
 He told of an increasing trend of unemployment among youth below 30 years old, who represent 70% of the total population of Yemen
He a appealed to Heads of State and Government for more help in combating terrorism in his country where he said that Al-Qaida, although weaker, was still capable of desperate acts. 
"We invite our international partners in combating terrorism to provide more logistical and technical support to the security forces and counterterrorism units and expand the intelligence cooperation and coordination in this field," he said. He also reaffirmed Yemen's "commitment to eradicate terrorist elements."
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said that the arms race and intimidation by nuclear weapons and weapons of mass destruction "by the hegemonic powers" had become prevalent.

He cited "continued threats by the uncivilized Zionists to resort to military action against our great nation" as an example of what he called a world order of unilateralism and intimidation. 
He said that no one felt secure or safe, "even those who have stockpiled thousands of atomic bombs and other arms in their arsenals".
