South Sudan has vast and fertile land, but one year into independence severe food shortages and malnutrition are a growing concern. The Chinese Engineering Unit of the UN Mission in South Sudan is now helping the South Sudanese army reclaim arable land to help feed soldiers and local communities. UNMISS
