February’s 8.8 magnitude earthquake along with the tsunami that followed wiped out entire neighbourhoods in the coastal city of Talcahuano, leaving most of the city’s residents homeless. Now families are living in shacks located on higher ground. The quake left 2 million people affected and nearly 600 dead. UNICEF
