STORYLINE:
The United Nations refugee agency (UNHCR) is planning to issue an urgent appeal to meet the needs of more than 100,000 refugees in the Republic of Congo, who have fled violence in neighboring Democratic Republic of the Congo. 
UNHCR said that the launch will be for funds, logistics and food.
The refugees come from the Likouala region along the Oubangui river, which marks the border between Congo and the DRC. Inter-tribal clashes erupted there in late October in a dispute over rich fishing waters.
