Guatemala: Weavers Find International Markets

In a poor village in a rural region of Guatemala, many women have woven traditional textiles for generations, earning little revenue for their efforts. Now, with the support of the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), these local weavers have found ways to sustain their community and preserve their Mayan traditions by teaming up with industrial designers to create top-selling textiles for export.
