Aging in Armenia

Throughout the world, older people’s contribution to society are often overlooked. The disintegration of the Soviet Union has left many elderly people in Armenia in poverty. A new initiative supported by the Nations Economic Commission for Europe is helping the country adjust to its new demographic reality.
