Uganda: Organic Pineapple Farming

The Green economy is important to Uganda because it gives farmers and traders opportunities to create wealth in a way that sustains and protects the environment.  The country’s National Organic Agricultural Movement is promoting organic pineapple farming and worldwide export of certified organic products.
