LIVING WITH FISTULA IN BANGLADESH
"Fistula is a common problem worldwide. It was eradicated in most Western countries over the last century, but remained a concern for women in developing countries. Through the efforts of the UN Population Fund, UNFPA, some 500 surgical procedures were completed at the Dhaka hospital in Bangladesh. A global campaign aims to eliminate fistula by 2015. Now, more women are opting for surgery as they seek to live a quality life."
