Medical Outreach Centre in Mogadishu
A medic of the Ugandan contingent of the African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM) speaks with patients at a medical outreach centre in Mogadishu. As part of the Tarehe Sita celebrations, which commemorate the 1986 takeover of power by the National Resistance Movement (NRM) in Uganda, the Ugandan People's Defence Force (UPDF) provided three days of medical outreach services in Mogadishu, as a gesture symbolizing the relationship between Uganda and the people of Somalia.
