A panel discussion on the subject “Hate Speech and Incitement to Genocide” was held at UN Headquarters in New York. The event was organized by the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum; the UN Office on Genocide Prevention and the Responsibility to Protect; the Office of the UN Special Rapporteur on the Promotion and Protection of the Right to Freedom of Opinion and Expression; and the Permanent Mission of Norway to the UN.

Aidan White (left), founding Director, Ethical Journalism Network, a global campaign to promote ethics and good governance across all media platforms, was one of the panellists. On his left is Frank LaRue, UN Special Rapporteur on the Promotion and Protection of the Right to Freedom of Opinion and Expression.
