2013 Holocaust Commemoration Remembers Courage of Rescuers
The General Assembly marks the UN’s 2013 Holocaust Remembrance Observance, on the theme “Rescue during the Holocaust: The courage to care”.
Addressing the Assembly is the keynote speaker, Mordecai Paldiel, a Holocaust survivor who served as director of the Department of the Righteous at the Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial in Jerusalem, and who was rescued as a child.
