Secretary-General Visits Syrian Refugee Camp in Jordan
On 7 December Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon visited Za’atri camp near Mafraq, Jordan, where thousands of Syrians have taken refuge from conflict, as part of a two-leg trip to Jordan and Turkey to assess the Syrian refugee situation in those countries.
