Observance of International Volunteer Day
The UN observed International Volunteer Day for Economic and Social Development, with a panel discussion on the theme “Celebrate volunteering!” The event was co-organized by the UN Volunteers programme (UNV), the Department of Public Information (DPI) and the American Association of Retired Persons (AARP).
