Head of UN Public Information Meets Yokohama Student Messengers of Peace
Peter Launsky-Tieffenthal (centre), Under-Secretary-General for Communications and Public Information, meets with this year’s Yokohama Children Peace Messengers. The two elementary school students and two junior high school students from Japan earned their designation through a peace-related essay contest, and are in New York representing the international peace efforts that Yokohama has made throughout the year.
