Damage at UNHQ after Hurricane Sandy
A view of UN Headquarters with the white awning to its delegates’ entrance partially torn off after Hurricane Sandy. Sandy made landfall earlier this week and caused unprecedented damage over a vast swath of the eastern United States, particularly the northeast and the New York metropolitan area, forcing UN Headquarters to close its doors for three days.
