Hurricane Sandy Causes Heavy Rains and Floods in Haiti
Hurricane Sandy passed to the west of Haiti on 25 October, causing heay rains and strong winds, flooding homes and overflowing rivers. Members of the UN Stabilization Mission in Haiti (MINUSTAH) prepare to deliver aid to residents of an island off the south west coast of Haiti.
