Celebrating UN Day in Darfur
Egyptian peacekeepers of the African Union-UN Hybrid Operation in Darfur (UNAMID) participate in a parade at Al Zubir Stadium in El Fasher, North Darfur, as part of celebrations for today’s United Nations Day.
UNAMID, UN agencies, and the people of Darfur, gathered in El Fasher to commemorate the 67th anniversary of the organziation and its principles with a special parade, dances and peace songs.
