Council President Briefs on Resolutions Concerning Haiti and Mali
Gert Rosenthal (left), Permanent Representative of Guatemala to the UN and President of the Security Council for October, briefs the press on the two resolutions approved by the Council this afternoon, respectively extending the UN’s mission in Haiti, MINUSTAH, by one year, and lending support to the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) and partners in their response to the Malian crisis.
