Nigerian Peacekeepers Killed in West Darfur Ambush
Nigerian peacekeepers of the African Union-UN Hybrid Operation in Darfur (UNAMID) listen to Mission Force Commander, Lieutenant General Patrick Nyamvumba, following last night's deadly ambush.
Four Nigerian troops were killed and eight injured when a group of unidentified men attacked their convoy, approximately 2 kilometres from the UNAMID regional headquarters in El Geneina, West Darfur.
