Dedication of Rockefeller Reading Room at UNOG Library
The UN inaugurated the John D. Rockefeller, Jr. Reading Room at the League of Nations Archives of the UN Office at Geneva (UNOG) Library. The event marked the 85th anniversary of the donation by John D. Rockefeller, Jr. to endow the League of Nations Library, which became the UN Library at Geneva in 1946. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon (second from right) unveils the dedication plaque of the Rockefeller Reading Room. Also present at the event: Betty E.
