Indonesian Peacekeepers Provide Security in North Darfur
Indonesia has contributed approximately 150 police officers to the African Union-UN Hybrid Operation in Darfur (UNAMID). They have been deployed to provide security for UNAMID, UN agencies, aid organizations, and to the residents of the Abu Shouk and Zam Zam Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) Camps.
First Sergeant Gusti Dirga, a member of Indonesia's Formed Police Unit serving with UNAMID, works out at the gym in UNAMID headquarters in El Fasher.
