Plenary, High-Level Talks Continue at UN “Rio+20” Summit
The UN Conference on Sustainable Development, dubbed Rio+20, holds its plenary session in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from 20 to 22 June. World leaders are gathered at the summit event for talks on poverty reduction, social equity and environmental protection, and are set to adopt a political text based on sustainable development pillars.
